App Library

App Library

App Library allows companies to create standard apps that perfectly match their internal processes, while leaving individual teams the freedom to modify these apps locally. These are “managed apps” that have a fixed core structure, with fixed data models, automations and interfaces, but are still flexible enough for adjustments by teams.

Key benefits:

  • Manage and publish company-specific apps with fixed data schedules, automations, and interfaces.
  • Teams can modify their own versions of apps while keeping the core structure “locked.”
  • Make updates centrally, such as new fields or updated interfaces, that are automatically transferred to all apps.
  • Use central reporting by means of data synchronization.
  • Publish and manage app components, such as standardized fields, for reuse within the company.

HyperDB

HyperDB

HyperDB puts an end to the biggest challenge for many Airtable users: the record limits. Where previously data sets were limited to a few hundred thousand records per table, HyperDB offers the ability to store hundreds of millions of records in a single table. This makes it possible for large companies to manage their entire data volumes and make them operational within Airtable without sacrificing performance or accessibility.

  • Manage massive datasets of hundreds of millions of records in a single table.
  • Synchronize data from external platforms such as Snowflake or store it locally within Airtable.
  • HyperDB makes it possible to use large amounts of valuable data for operational workflows without teams being dependent on overloaded data departments.

Please note: The subsets of data that are synchronized in apps can still contain up to 250,000 records per table.
